Dogs are welcome in our “Glad hund” hut.
The Stuga is lovingly furnished and has two small bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together as needed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed which is particularly popular with children and teenagers. Both bedrooms have windows.
The kitchen is open to the dining and living area and is fully equipped. You can prepare your own meals here or just enjoy a snack.
The daylight bathroom has a shower, a toilet and a washing machine.
The veranda invites you to linger and there is a grill available for a cozy barbecue evening.
The WiFi is free for you as a holiday guest.

🌊 Our lake: It is an artificial lake. During heavy rain, we need to regulate the water level to avoid flooding.

🚭 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside, but allowed on the veranda.
👟 In accordance with Swedish tradition, we kindly ask our guests to remove their shoes inside the cabin.
🍖 Grilling is only permitted in the designated area. Please clean the grill after use.
⚡ Charging electric vehicles on the premises is not allowed.
🔇 Please remember to reduce all activities to a quiet level after 10:00 PM to maintain the peace and quiet of the night.

If you like exploring nature, you can take a boat trip on the Dalslands Canal*, which connects Lake Vänern** with other lakes. You can visit the impressive lock complex in Håverud***, consisting of 4 locks and an aqueduct that crosses the river.

There are various bathing places in the municipality of Mellerud. We recommend, for example, the bathing area “Vita Sannar”. Dogs are also allowed in one of the sections.
Dogs are also allowed to swim in our lake, directly in front of the cabins.
Dalskog offers another small but nice public bathing area called "Kappo", which can be reached by car from our location in 4 minutes.
The town of Mellerud, with its many shops, restaurants and cozy cafés, is located approx. 12km from Dalskog. The “Mellerud Handel” shopping center is located directly on the E45 thoroughfare. In addition to a large Coop (grocery store), you will find a pharmacy, a café-restaurant, sportswear, a dollar store, a drugstore and, above all, sweets.
